About the Prints

The Print Process

All artworks are created using the giclée printing process, widely regarded as the gold standard for fine art reproduction. Giclée (from the French “to spray”) uses advanced inkjet technology and archival pigment inks to achieve exceptional tonal depth, subtle detail, and colour accuracy. When cared for properly, these prints can last for well over 100 years, making them true collector’s pieces.

Museum-Grade Papers

Hahnemühle Photo Rag (308gsm)

A 100% cotton rag paper with a smooth, super-matte finish. It enhances soft gradients, subtle tones, and delicate textures, with muted blacks and evenly reproduced colours. The chalky surface gives images a painterly quality and is especially popular among collectors of fine art and photography. Due to its cotton texture, it requires gentle handling at the edges.

  • Max print width: 1524 mm

  • Finish: Matte

  • Tone: Off-white

  • Texture: Smooth, minimal

Epson Semi-Gloss (260gsm)

A versatile paper that blends photographic sharpness with the elegance of fine art. The semi-gloss surface offers vibrant colour, high contrast, and fine detail, without the heavy shine of traditional photo papers. Its resin-coated surface makes it durable and less prone to marking, while retaining the refined qualities of a giclée print.

  • Max print width: 1524 mm

  • Finish: Semi-gloss

  • Tone: Bright white

  • Texture: Extra smooth

Image Properties & Sizing

  • Prints are produced at 300 dpi as standard, ensuring crisp detail and professional quality.

  • Special sizes can be made from 200 dpi, which remain visually sharp when viewed from an appropriate distance — ideal for large-format wall displays.

  • Prints are supplied without borders unless requested. Optional borders of 25mm, 50mm, 75mm, or 100mm can be added, with the artwork scaled to maintain overall size.

Framing Options

Framed works are available in white, black, or oak frames, paired with mounts in white, black, cream, or ivory. Frames are designed to complement the artwork and provide a clean, gallery-ready presentation.

Longevity & Care

All giclée prints are produced with archival pigment inks on museum-grade papers, ensuring durability of more than 100 years under normal conditions.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or damp environments.

  • Handle prints with clean, dry hands and avoid touching the printed surface.

  • If framing, use UV-protective glazing for best preservation.

Sustainability

All papers and materials are sourced from responsible suppliers, and the printing process is carried out with a commitment to sustainable practices.
